Andrija Dudić (Budapest, 16. II. 1533 – Wrocław, 23. II. 1589), Croatian diplomat and humanist. After his father's death in the battle with the Turks in 1541, he was taken care of by his uncle, the bishop of Vác, who enabled him to be educated in Hungary, Poland, Italy and France. Through the papal envoy R. Pole, he met the learned society in Verona, and in their company he traveled through Western Europe, reaching England. In 1560, he stayed in Vienna at the court of Ferdinand I., and the following year he gained the honor of titular bishop of Knin. At the third session of the Council of Trent in 1562-63, he represented the Croatian and Hungarian clergy. During his stay in Trident, he received a biography of the Italian humanist Ludovico Beccadelli about the life of his patron Cardinal R. Pole. Dudić translated the book from Italian to Latin (Vita Reginaldi Poli Britanni S. R. Ecclesiae Cardinalis et Cantauriensis archiepiscopi, 1563). It went through several editions, and the copy in question is the first edition of this work. The book is marked ex libris Dubravčić.
