A supplemented French edition that appeared in 1770, 15 years after the first edition in Italian under the title "On a scientific journey through the Papal States..." (De litteraria expeditione per Pontificiam..., 1755). 

This copy contains a map of the Papal States and all 4 associated graphics. Pope Benedict XIV. he entrusted Bošković with the Jesuit Christopher Maire to measure meridian degrees between Rome and Rimini in the Papal States and create a geographical map of the Papal States.
