Summary
Jack London: The White Fang
*The book has a dedication from the previous owner.
The novel White Fang by Jack London is the story of the life of a young animal, half wolf and half dog, who faces the harsh conditions of the wild and the human world. Born in the wild as the child of the she-wolf Kiche and the wolf One-Eye, White Fang survives as the only youngster in the pack. After being captured by Indians, he is forced to adapt to life among people. His childhood was marked by violence and conflicts with other dogs, which makes him cunning and aggressive. However, when he is rescued by Mr. Scott, who gives him love and tenderness, White Fang begins to develop a deep affection for him. In the end, White Fang saves his master's life by fighting the criminal Jim Hall, resulting in his serious injuries and a heroic end.
