Summary
Jane Costello: Bridesmaids
Four Weddings. Three bitter ex-boyfriends. Two very effective breast inserts in the form of chicken fillets. And a wonderful man... The winning combination is "Bridesmaids" - a hilariously entertaining book about a young girl who is "stuck" in the eternal role of bridesmaid at other people's weddings.
The main character of the novel is the lovely Evie, a twenty-seven-year-old journalist who has never been seriously in love and who began to think that she never would. It's no wonder that the role of bridesmaid at so many weddings fills her with dread. But when a charmingly handsome young man, Jack, starts showing up at weddings as a regular guest, things take a turn for the better.
Only, between the discovery that Jack is seeing the beautiful, narcissistic Valentina and an unfortunate incident with a twenty-five-centimeter vibrator, things don't go as Evie might have hoped...
