Summary
Sonja Manojlović: Good for everyone
For decades, Sonja Manojlović's poetry has been one of the most reliable and stimulating destinations in the context of contemporary Croatian literature, its permanent and unquestionable value.
Her poetry has always implied, at the level of the entire oeuvre, and often in the structure of each poem, at least a few semantic and verse-performance intersections. But what is even more important for Sonja Manojlović's poetry is always a great, precise sense of the sonority of the spoken verse/language and the rhythm of the song, with a completely concrete, "description" of the universal reality.
What more distinctly characterizes the collection Dobri za sve is a direct reckoning, removing the veil from the many manipulative systems of the time in which we live. Sonja Manojlović easily detects the masks of many, we thought disappeared forever, ideological paradigms that, like an evil fate, constantly return to the spaces of our lives at the same time returning us from the present and the future to the eternal past. To what extent are we "good for all" types of manipulation, the author's book asks, among other things.
