Ivan Bizar, Croatian writer, bibliophile and collector, lived from 1793 to 1817 in Italy, mainly in Venice, where he performed various commercial and diplomatic duties and participated in the work of academies. He wrote compositions of appropriate, romantic and religious meaning, which he printed in Venice and Dubrovnik, as well as journalistic texts on various topics.
