Summary
Britta Rostlund: The Mystery of Montmartre
"Are you waiting for Monsieur Beliveux, madam?" Elena Follasadi, of course, should have said no. She doesn't know the man who addressed her, let alone Monsieur Beliveux, and she's pretty sure he's not waiting for him. However, out of sheer boredom and whim, she accepts the game: she is offered a handsome sum to sit at the computer and forward e-mails to Mr. Beliveux. It will be revealed that the e-mails are coded, and with the mysterious bouquets of flowers she receives every night, the mystery becomes even bigger. Mancebo enjoys his peaceful and carefree life. Or at least he was having fun until Mrs. Cat came to his little shop, with the unusual proposition of spying on her husband for good money. To his own surprise, Mancebo agrees, but as he tries to focus on his mission, he begins to realize that his married life is not so perfect either. Although they don't know it yet, Elena and Mancebo will meet and discover that the beautiful City of Light hides unexpected secrets in its cafes and courtyards.
