The road leads her to the Danube Swabians and then to the Bleiburg field, and when she arrives in Osijek via Zagreb, her fate takes another unexpected turn. By order of the father is an excellent combination of a crime story and a serious novel. His plot is carefully worked out, and the characters are extremely nuanced, so critics called the publication of Bottini's work a real event on the German scene of crime literature.
