Summary
Luy Kellaway: During working hours
In the London headquarters of the global oil company Atlantic Energy, office romances simply flourish. Although petroleum products may not be synonymous with aphrodisiac, romantic adventures are high on the corporate agenda.
Stella Bradberry, for example, is one of several directors at the company. She quickly climbed the business ladder and reached the very top. However, despite the phenomenal income, harmonious marriage and two children, she will embark on a passionate relationship with her twenty-seven-year-old assistant Rhys.
On the other hand, Bella Chambers, a young single mother who works as a personal assistant to the director, will get involved with her boss James, a high-ranking, married alpha male. Frenetic emails, text messages and office whispers that the author skilfully juggles will reveal to us both sides of these at first glance incredible and yet, in the corporate environment, so frequent relationships.
If you have wondered how it is possible that smart women sometimes make such bad decisions, you will find out that the answer is not so simple.
