Summary
Miroslav Akmadža: Stepinac in his Words and Deeds
Edition in English.
Although many books about Cardinal Alojzij Stepinac have been published to date, after many years of studying his life and activities and analysis of other research, the author assessed that it is necessary to make a synthesis of all previous research. Most of the works on Alojzij Stepinac were published in large volumes or are narrowly thematic works. Such works are useful for historians and everyone else who is engaged in deeper research of Alojzij Stepinac and his work, but they are not suitable for a wider readership. The purpose of this book is to acquaint the readers with the person of Alojzije Stepinac in the most concise form, which will nevertheless include the most important parts of his life and activities. This book should be read as a light read that provides basic information, and does not burden the reader with deeper scientific analyzes and discussions, i.e. it should answer the question in a simple way: Who was the blessed Alojzije Stepinac?
