Summary
Marija Mandić (ed.): Minority languages in Vojvodina
The autonomous province of Vojvodina, part of the Republic of Serbia, is globally a unique region, made up of many different linguistic, ethnic, religious and cultural microcosms. Combining an international, national, regional and local approach, the authors try, on the basis of contemporary empirical research, to shed light on the language ideologies and educational practices of minority languages and to critically examine their adaptation to a multilingual reality. The collection bears witness to discontinuity and continuity: looking at the past and the present, it offers possible models and perspectives for the future. - Marko Čudić
