Esej o primatu minimalnog

Krstić Predrag

Summary

Predrag Krstić: Essay on the primacy of the minimal. Contribution to the establishment of negative engagement The thesis of this book is simple: there is a place for installing and justifying (understandably - and challenging) the idea of "negative engagement". The three "negative" theoretical conceptions of contemporary philosophy renounce "maximalist" explanatory and even prescriptive pretensions, in favor of the value of someone or something "minimal", which would be distilled and stylized with a persistent "negativist" attitude, and analyzed and preserved from perversion and forgery. These conceptions insist on a reorientation or even a transformation of thinking, such that it avoids the challenge of professing and preaching a "positively" oriented doctrine or vision. Theoretically - and not only theoretically - a responsible conception of negative engagement should, we believe, be based on the examples of that "turn to negativity" which, in addition to everything else, directs correct thinking and behavior towards obvious evil, suffering, injustice, and lies.
