The aim of this book is to lay the foundations of praxeology, that is, the "science of action", which studies individual and joint efforts in the design and realization of undertakings with the intention of changing some part of the world. These attempts do not fulfill the entire life of people, but they still have a significant place in it and thus form a historical fabric that contributes to determining the course of history. Praxeology can be applied to all types of human activity and to the most diverse situations. The author analyzes two complementary fields: economics and international relations. In a world fragmented into separate and constantly opposed political units, international relations constitute the fundamental category of praxeological problems that are illuminated here from a theoretical and practical point of view. The domestic reader will find on its pages the drama of the civil war in the former Yugoslavia, which is to a large extent the consequence, but often also the initiator, of major changes in the system of international relations.
