Summary
Božo Čerović: Bosnian youth and the Sarajevo assassination
The very act of assassination in Sarajevo on June 28, 1914, in which the Austrian heir to the throne Franz Ferdinand and his wife Countess Sophie von Hohenberg (nee von Chotek) were killed, and which was carried out by members of the youth terrorist organization Mlada Bosna, is still today, after more than 100 years, a subject of dispute and politicization among conflicting historiographies on the former Yugoslav territory.
