Bajamonti is a typical personality of the second half of the 18th century, the century of enlightenment and rationalism. The breadth of his education allowed him to work not only as a doctor but also as a writer, musician, linguist, bibliographer, ethnographer, archaeologist, philosopher, agronomist, economist, meteorologist, physicist, chemist. In addition, he was a polyhistor and a polyglot.
