Summary
Milica Bakić-Hayden: Hinduism
A lot of noise about the One
An excellent, problematic, but also historical introduction to Hinduism, which comprehensively and coherently discusses all the essential constitutive elements of this great world religion. Such an approach is really rare in Indology, and in our country (with the exception, perhaps, of Čedomil Veljačić) no author has yet applied it, including not only Serbia but also the former Yugoslavia. MBH is objective, reliable, responsible and sophisticated in its analysis and presentation of various aspects of Hinduism. As a small but reliable encyclopedia, the reader will return to this book every time he needs to clarify some of the concepts related to Hinduism.
