The very title of the book Logos, simvol, ikona tells us about the many years of scientific and pedagogical work of Bishop Jovan Purić and his versatile research in the field of theology, Christian culture and art. The first and second parts of the book were written with the intention of presenting the biblical theology of the Incarnation, certainly, from the viewpoint of paternal theology, while the third part was written as an exposition of patristic teaching, based, certainly, in biblical theology. The synthesis of biblical and patristic thought is visible throughout the entire book, while the listed literature in the Bibliography consists of key works for the study of Christian culture.
