Summary
Nikola Andrić, Vatroslav Jagić: Correspondence 1890-1918.
Although the rich and valuable correspondence of Vatroslav Jagić (1838 - 1923) has for the most part already been published in the world and in our country in several volumes, the letters exchanged between the distinguished professor and his student Nikola Andrić (1867 - 1942) bring for the first time little-known information about many important events in Croatia. culture and science, about the problems of Croatian theater and Zagreb University, publishing, dignitaries and socio-political circumstances, especially during the First World War, as well as about the personal tragedies they experienced. For the student of cultural history, this correspondence offers many more precious materials from national history at the end of the 19th and in the first decades of the 20th century.
