Approximately 1,000 entries unite the knowledge of different professions about the character and work of Marin Držić, his era and contemporaries. Držić's literary oeuvre is thoroughly covered - his printed and manuscript works are described, and each such entry contains a bibliographic description, a brief content, genre, versification, stylistic and comparative description. The lexicon also covers the theatrical aspect of Držić's works: spaces where his plays were performed, theater companies, costume design, Renaissance treatises on scenography.
