The permanent and essentially defining characteristic of Andrej Tišma's artistic positioning in the historical development of the Yugoslav and transitional "second line" is reflected in the consistent use of new media and strategies in a humanistically oriented effort to actively influence his micro and macro social reality, i.e. to revolutionize the entirety of life. His decades-long continuous avant-garde creative commitment is contained in the utopian aspiration to use mental forces, based on a fundamentally different value and ideological relationship of man towards nature and himself, to artistically interactively reshape the spirits of the recipients and create a world order radically different from the ruling capitalist one. Therefore, in physical and virtual reality, with ideologically subversive images, attitudes and emotions, he disturbed, awakened and raised the awareness of the domestic and international audience, critically pointing out to them the fundamental problems of civilization and influencing the change of their media-produced opinions in order to cause the desired changes for the better.
