Architecture of the Late Antiquity in Bosnia and Herzegovina is a scientific study that systematically deals with the architectural heritage of the Late Antiquity period (3rd–6th centuries) in Bosnia and Herzegovina. The author analyzes sacred and profane buildings, with a special emphasis on early Christian basilicas, fortifications, urban structures and rural complexes.
The work is based on archaeological research and fieldwork, and provides a typological and stylistic analysis of architectural remains, their chronology and cultural-historical context within the wider area of the late antique Balkans. Basler sheds light on the processes of Romanization, the spread of Christianity and the transformation of ancient urban centers.
