Prvo izdanje na engleskom jeziku. Knjiga je prvi put, na francuskom jeziku, objavljena 1800. godine. Pedeset koloriranih grafika s prikazima narodnih nošnji. Svaka grafika popraćena je tekstom na engleskom i francuskom jeziku (prijevod na engleski M. Dallas). Popis grafika na početku knjige, iza (također dvojezičnog) uvodnog teksta, u kojem se ističe: "We have here, therefore, confined ourselves to the most remarkable dresses in the Hereditary States of the House of Austria." Nošnje slovenskog, hrvatskog i bokokotorskog područja prikazane su na sljedećim pločama: pl. 4 - 9 - nošnje gornje Kranjske, pl. 30 - Hrvatica, pl. 34 - 38 - nošnje Boke Kotorske.
