Summary
Ksenija Kvas, Goran Sarvan: Talisman Magic
The most important law of the occult, the law of Hermes, reads: "As above, so below." A successful and effective talisman is a textbook example of how the Law of Hermes, when properly applied, works in practice. Talisman magic represents only one branch of religious and magical practices, and talismans were used and are still used today almost all over the world.
Unfortunately, due to various mystifications, talismans have rarely been the subject of serious scientific analysis. It was easier to put them in the same basket with the devil, dark forces and demons, etc. Instead of analyzing the writings about talismans in depth as real scientific instructions that speak in symbolic language about how to manage the energies of nature for the benefit of people, scientists just wave their hands as if they are empty stories of less value. and useful from recipes. However, modern science, according to the law of necessity, is slowly peeking beyond the boundaries of the world limited only by Newton's physics. Quietly, sometimes hidden, scientists are returning to discover the world, which is a dance of various energies of different qualities, discovering that some of them can be scientifically measured, evaluated and studied. We hope that discoveries of this kind will pave the way for the scientific study of the use of talismans.
