Although Antun Bonifačić is both an essayist and a novelist, this book presents the most important part of Bonifačić's creativity - poetry. In Bonifačić's poetry, the motif of Croatia and the homeland, which he nostalgically dreams of since 1945, when he left for emigration, is strongly felt. The texts in this book are selected from all previous collections of poems, from the first from 1926 to the last selection in the edition of the Century of Croatian Literature. The book also contains a dictionary that explains some Chakavian language peculiarities and some historical-mythological and cultural names.
