Summary
Antun Bonifačić: Mladice
second, complete edition
Dr Antun Bonifačić (Punat, island of Krk, Croatia, October 8, 1901 - Chicago, USA, April 24, 1986), is a Croatian emigrant writer, journalist and politician. Although he was a poet by profession, he also tried his hand at short stories, novels, criticism and essays. However, he reached the greatest artistic heights with verses. Before leaving the country, his poetry was colored by Mediterranean, recognizable Krk themes, and after he left for a foreign world, patriotic emotions came to the fore.
