Mastodonts is an allegorical poem about the fight against fascism, in which a return to the original, a return to the prehistoric past, among antediluvian monsters, is visible, which is characteristic of Vučo's poetry created after the war.
Aleksandar Vučo is a representative of surrealism. In 1923, he collaborated on the magazines "Paths" and "Testimonies".
Drawings, initials and front page were made by Predrag Milosavljević.
