Branislav Glumac: On the stalk of dilapidation
"Glumec's return to poetry in the new millennium took place in a changed poetic and social context. We will not exaggerate the fact that during that time, Croatian poetry abundantly experienced its 'splendid isolatio' and neo-avant-garde options, once again feeling the temptation of mimetic verification, neo-realist 'bath'. Indeed, after the predominance of 'semantic concreteism', i.e. all form of verbal euphoria and linguistic distortion, there was a need to write 'with the cover' of referentiality. The actor by no means followed any trend of neorealism (or neo-existentialism), but reached his 'veristic' or even naturalistic expressiveness by gradually developing his own continuity of his own communicativeness and putting into play a very personal role."

Branislav Actor puts the world in the safest place: the protected artistic halves of the twentieth century. Before the changes of this century, it is urgent to store the valuables of the past; until it's too late! The actor is afraid of being late. The calmness with which he puts reality in protective clothing also seems illusory to him. Almost everything is virtual, except for the noticeable detail, except for the metaphorical clothes, except for placing reality in a precisely defined display case. Neo-existentiality is placed in the right and only place!
On the powerful stem of dilapidation...
