Summary
Stanislav Vinaver: Pantology of the New Serbian Pelengirika
Vinaver, Stanislav, Serbian writer (Šabac, 1 March 1891 – Banja, 1 August 1955). A master of irony and paradox, he attracted attention with Pantology of recent Serbian lyricism, in which he parodied Anthology of recent Serbian lyricism by B. Popović. From the title of the work, to the last pages with humorous advertisements, from the poems to the footnotes and comments, everything is written in the spirit of parody. In Vinaver's inverted mirror, we look at literary creativity throughout history, the work of critics and anthologists, publishing and the lives of writers of his contemporaries.
