Ten years after Rudnik čvaraka, awarded in Vinkovci with the Josip i Ivan Kozarac award for the book in 2012, Tomislav Šovagović wrote a sequel to Slavonic incidents and accidents. In front of the lens and the pen of Slavonia from the last century stand people and events from the plains, their unusual habits, the routine of difficult everyday life interwoven with humor and teasing of the neighborhood. Mourning the death of Richard Burton, "Romeo and Juliet" at the Ladimireva lenia, Vivaldi's "concert" at Karašica and recorded Harms Slucajev give local events a universal meaning, in times when the world was not yet a global village. The collection is rounded off by longer stories - Chocolate Show, Beautiful and Sunflower Cave - as a metaphor for the inevitable parting with the old way of life.
