In an exciting novel in which three children of a police officer tell the story of the events in their family marked by an incident at work, that the policeman stopped a young man who is underage and illegally driving his mother's car, and whose father is a criminal, there are primarily elements of a family drama. It is an extremely well-written novel in which each of the children has their own different speech and opinions about life, either they clash with their father or stand by him. The action is initiated by the policeman's youngest child, twelve-year-old Vedran, who is a bright and smart boy and who will stand by his father in a situation where he has problems due to an incident and initiate a series of positive events. It is no coincidence that the writer chose the youngest boy in the family to be the most positive person in the novel. She expects the most from the youngest female writers. That is why he writes for children and young people. They are the ones who are our future and what it will look like depends on them. The novel has a special structure, each child tells his own story that differs from that of another child, each child experiences the situation at home and his father differently. The father is an exceptional figure, a very honest and good man, who tries to raise his children by example. However, not all children experience this equally, especially when there is a crisis in the family and there is a lack of money. During the novel and a series of events in which the struggle between good and evil, the conflict between criminal behavior and unreserved honesty takes place, the characters gradually change and the attitudes of the children change, to whom dad, an honest man, at times seemed like a simple loser. A novel that can be read by everyone, from 12 to 120 years old.
