"Looking at the spaces of his childhood, Nenad Rizvanović simultaneously pursues the sediments of time that have been layered in privileged places. Osijek's topography, and especially toponymy, offers him diverse stimuli for emotional recollections and lucid evocations, and he expertly uses them to shape appropriate miniatures, lyrical prose with a melancholic foreshadowing and an elegiac tone. Album inspired photographs of the surroundings of Gornji Grad and the banks of the Drava, which were made by Željko Stojanović, offered him correlatives and complements of his own vision. Deserted streets and peeling facades, with only a few passers-by, usually a loner, introduce us to a city of suspended duration, of almost metaphysical properties." (Tonko Maroević)
