Margaret Cheney: Tesla a man out of time
As an unusually versatile biographer, Margaret Cheney thoroughly researched the life and work of the brilliant scientist Nikola Tesla and traveled frequently to Yugoslavia. In 1981, after extensive research, she published a biography of Nikola Tesla: Tesla, the Timeless Man. This comprehensive and well-documented book on Tesla has been translated into many languages and has become very popular among a wide readership. In 1990, in collaboration with film producer Robert Uth, she realized the multimedia project Tesla - master of lighting. Margaret Chaney received a gold medal from the Nikola Tesla Institute and the Tesla Foundation and became president of the Tesla Memorial Society.
