Summary
Klaus Theweleit: Logical, Radical, Criminal
There are many books about wars, as well as recent wars in the Balkans. However, the collection of essays by Klaus Theweleit: Logical, Radical, Criminal is completely different from other works that can be read on the subject in Serbian. Writing in an unconventional style, he subjects the causes and goals of wars and various ethnic-religious conflicts in Europe, Asia, America and Africa to a radical leftist, pacifist critique, which has "man" at its center and various aspects of his socialization, the essence of which rarely and slowly changes. Theweleit also sharply criticizes the role of German official policy in breaking up Yugoslavia, as well as the role of the West as a whole, recognizing in it not only imperialist, but also old nationalist and male-patriarchal urges.
