An encyclopedic work that made a significant contribution to the knowledge of Dalmatia in Europe, although the author viewed many phenomena in Dalmatia with skepticism.
Two volumes (Erster Theil; Zweiter Theil). Traces of use due to the soft cover. Contents of the first volume at the end of the first volume. In the second volume, pages 1 - 16 are missing (they probably contained the contents of that volume). Notes below the text. At the end of the second volume there is an appendix - a list of all places in Dalmatia (Anhang. Alphabetisches Verzeichniss aller Städte, Flecke, Dörfer, Orstschaften und Pfarren in dermaligen Gebiete der Statthalterei von Dalmatien, pp. 297 - 304). An extended version of the author's article Geographische Skizze von Dalmatien, published in the Prague magazine Taschenbuch zur Verbreitung geographischer Kintenze in two installments (year 11 (1833), cf. no. 66, and year 12 (1834), cf. no. 331).
