Summary
John Burrow: The History of History
The book by the respected British intellectual historian explores the writings of a number of historians whose works influenced the worldview of certain historical periods, as well as the attitudes and thinking of future generations. Although some of them were skilled storytellers whose writings read like the most exciting pieces of literature, they all share a desire to understand social events and the individuals who set them in motion. The study and writing of history continues, and new technologies provide us with previously non-existent opportunities for presenting history.
