When the Belgian cartoonist Georges Remi, better known as Hergé, drew Tintin and breathed life into him in the children's section of the Belgian newspaper Le Vingtieme Siecle, back in 1929, he had no idea that his hero would conquer the world. Tintin is a young Belgian reporter with a tuft, always accompanied by his faithful dog Čupko (Milou), a world traveler and a fighter for justice.
