The term "numen" appears in II. century BC, remains in use until the end of the 5th century AD. One more term in addition to the existing religious terminology, to indicate the movement of the Roman religious spirit on the plane of Roman history. Titus Levi believed that the term "numen" and not the term "deus" is reflected in the plan of Roman history and events. All Roman emperors appropriated the term "numen" for themselves, and used it to carry out their deification, deification. (...) Dragutin Novaković analyzes the meaning of the term "numen" within the framework of the context, the units in which the term "numen" appears. (...) This paper is the first comprehensive study on the term "numen".
