Summary
Jean - Marc Reiser: Cheers to Women
Comic Cheers to Women! it will enrage and upset the advocates of human rights, feminism, politeness, socially and socially acceptable conventions, public morality, various folk and other people's souls, but also members of the progressive, liberal, civil, leftist camp. Reiser cannot be reduced to established and generally accepted divisions and drawers; his work resists any attempt to mold and interpret it within a given socio-political form or artistic trend. That's why everyone can be recognized in his comics, from small businessmen and women entrepreneurs, through French farmers or Croatian peasants, socially conscious individuals, budding students, housewives, lawyers, doctors, intellectuals, empty-headed people, naughty teenagers or petty criminals. Reiser's handwriting leaves a striking impression on the individual whether he wants it or not. And that is what makes it universal and timeless and always current.
