On the other hand, Goslar returns to the very sources of the works of Marguerite Yourcenar (1903-1987), and tries to recognize the heroes of her literary works in real people from her life, and their themes and plots in true events. She paid special attention to her childhood and growing up on her paternal grandmother's estate, and her ties to her native country, Belgium.
