Summary
FRANZ JOHANN JOSEPH VON REILLY: Map of Istria
The map shows Istria with its administrative-territorial structure at the end of the 18th century. It is interesting that the demarcation between the County of Pazin, which was under Habsburg administration, and the rest of Istria, which was under Venetian administration, was not particularly emphasized. District headquarters are marked in red. The title of the map is inscribed on a stone monument in the lower left corner of the map. The scale is expressed in German and ordinary Italian miles. This map was published in Reilly's atlas “Schauplatz der Welt Atlas” 1789-1791.
