Put od Lemurije ka Hiperboreji

Ristić Aglaja Katarina

Summary

Katarina Ristić Aglaja: The Path from Lemuria to Hyperborea

Neo-symbolist mythopoetics

The author's approach to the literary work is multi-layered, and therefore multi-faceted, because it penetrates into the mythological progenitors of being, while at the same time reaching the newly opened dimension of a newborn being. To follow his path means, first of all, that all the instructions are given by his reading itself. The attentive reader is thus enabled to reach the core of the extremely individual and collective archetypal starting point. Because of this, the author constantly returns the reader, who – surrounded by the adventure of the labyrinthine reception of the work, simply swallows her text – to the work of pilgrimage; more precisely, following the magmatic flow of her sentences where the lava – like pure insight – pours into the interior of the proposed reading; from there follows the explosiveness of the force of the finally-rounded cognition, which eventually forms into the crown of its meaning. Hence the path of that lava is the path of Ouroboros, constantly present because it emerges from the stalking. It is precisely because of this (that they did not enclose the raw material within themselves) that her literature is hermetic to many, and that in its essence it is only hermetic (as a possible reflection of the tables). By finding the key point in her text, this inner fire is finally transformed into a guiding star that hints at the very spark of spirit that draws the dedicated reader the "steep" path to Ananka's spheres.    - Predrag Todorović
