Summary
Rodney Collin: The Theory of Celestial Influence
Man, the Universe and the Cosmic Secret
An ambitious attempt to combine astronomy, physics, chemistry, human psychology and world history with the author's view of planetary influences.
As above, so below...
Are we alone in the universe or are we inextricably linked with it? Is humanity simply a biological entity or is there some higher purpose for its existence, and if so, who or what does humanity serve? The book reveals the hidden connections between humanity, the planets and the universe and restores a long-forgotten level and depth to astrology.
All of Collin's reflections indicate that the system of creation is one and that the same laws rule everywhere in it, hinting that the creator is only one - God.
The main themes of the work
Collin primarily introduces the concept of the cosmos, in order to elaborate on the theme of spatiality, the dimensions of the cosmos and its time, that is, time, and the relationship between space and time, that through the whole work he would compare the cosmos according to the principle of both above and below, and discover subtle connections and the interweaving of the same principles through them.
Then he introduces the law of number 3, or the interaction of 3 forces from which all phenomena arise, i.e. from which a multitude develops from the Absolute, referring to ancient philosophical systems in which this is discussed - Christian philosophy (Father, Son, Holy Spirit), medieval alchemy (salt, sulphur, mercury), Indian philosophy (Rajas, Tama, Sattva), Hinduism (Shiva, Parvati, Vishnu), Chinese Buddhism (Ying, Yang, Tao).
