Author of the travel and cultural-anthropological work Les bords de l'Adriatique et le Monténégro: Venise, l'Istrie, le Quarnero, la Dalmatie, le Monténégro et la rive Italienne (Paris 1878). The book is full of engravings and very high-quality and detailed descriptions of Istria, Dalmatia, Boka and Montenegro.
