Summary
Alessandro Carrera: The Miraculous Life of Graduate Writers
Since 1993, when it was first published, this novel has gone through seven editions. The title itself carries irony, because we all know what fate awaits graduates of literature in these times. This is also the first work by Alessandro Carrera that was translated into Serbian. The hilarious, intricate story based on situation comedy begins when Renato, a middle-aged literature teacher employed at a school, decides to change his life by completing a course to sell medicinal clay, and hires Rino, an unemployed young literature teacher, to move into his apartment and take his place as a fake patient. Then the twins Rosamaria and Mariarosa, a doctor and a graduate writer-stripper, become involved in the story, who in an unusual way become a part of Rin's life, living in the belief that he is Renato... What will happen when Renato's friends come to visit a sick colleague, but do not find him in the apartment, and when the head of a Chinese restaurant comes to collect his order, 2000 "lucky messages", which the graduate writer needs to compile, you will find out if you read this novel to end, full of laughter, fun, intrigue...
