Three friends, students from Turin, wander the streets of the city and the nature that surrounds it in search of truth and joy. They discover life like a child who, in order to understand how a toy works, has to open it up and take it apart into small parts, thus destroying it. One evening they meet a peer who will somehow change their lives. He has everything, but he sees no meaning in anything because everything in his life has been given to him. He is the devil who introduces the three young men, who until then were searching for wisdom in their everyday life and growing up, into the world of sex, drugs, alcohol, love and pain, but directs them to fight for the freedom to shape their lives and themselves as they wish...
