Martinović Stjepo

Summary

Stjepo Martinović: Frankenstein's Brothers

Stjepo Martinović, a philologist and political scientist by training, a journalist, a long-time reporter, commentator and editor in the publications of the former Vjesnik house, started writing fiction only in his early (his) sixties - so that, as he explains the influence of Calliope and Polyhymnia, the other hundreds of stories that he heard or found out about them in other ways, which he "carried in his head" for decades, would not go unrecorded. that one day (perhaps) he would give them written clothes. He published his thirteenth book, the novel Frankenstein's Brothers, in 2018. It is, as the author himself says, about not easy prose written for an audience that has the patience to read a multi-layered story in which fiction and documentary alternate, and real events and names are mentioned, so it will be interesting to listen to any audience.
