Summary
Pavle Aleksić: Hartvorm
Pavel Aleksić's stories are short, polished and imbued with some quiet sadness. In them, it is as if time has stopped, and the characters are left to find their way in this alienated world without a future. His stories talk about the impossibility of man finding a place for himself, the impossibility of communication between two beings, the impossibility of staying and the even greater impossibility of returning. They talk about America, Serbia and that endless space that arises when a person is neither there nor here.
