Summary
Goran Dakić: Pulling out the brambles
The book contains about twenty stories that can be read, but also listened to in a way because they contain the "sound track" of specific local speech. Dakić's "alphabet" is, on the one hand, a kind of dictionary, because stories often bear witness to words and their meaning, to a language that is mostly neglected and forgotten in our literature. On the other hand, this book is also a series of thematic units in which narratives and confessions are given about key places, turning points and decisive events in the life of a Krajišan, from his birth to his death. In this way, Dakić's Krajik alphabet contains the following terms: koto, state, pulling, tractor, fukara, brother, salary, female, male, master, garden, death, veteran, map, pressure, mother, nabacha, baking, surveyor, accounts, honesty, politics, love, God.
