Ian Rankin: Game Over
Inspector Rebus investigates the murder of Alexander Todorov, a respected Russian poet who took refuge in Edinburgh. At the same time, Edinburgh is visited by a group of businessmen from Russia, so the local authorities expect the police to solve the case quickly and efficiently so that nothing interferes with business negotiations. Rebus is only ten days away from retirement, but work on the latest case and unfinished business with his old rival gangster Cafferty will bring Rebus new conflicts and troubles.
