Rupi Kaur - the poet who seduced the world
Honey and milk is a success from the New York Times bestseller list, a blend of poetry and prose that talks about the themes of survival, violence, abuse, love, loss and femininity. Each of the four chapters has its own purpose, treating a different pain. Milk and Honey takes the reader on a journey through the bitterest moments of life and finds something sweet in them, because something sweet can be found everywhere you look.
"Rupi Kaur has a vision that you would not expect from such a young person. Her poetry is simple but powerful and exposes all aspects of the existence of both a human being and a young woman today. Rupi Kaur's first book, milk and honey, is a collection of poems that every woman should keep on her bedside table. Accompanied by the author's drawings, Rupa's sincere and beautiful poems are a collection of experiences of a contemporary woman."
Huffington Post
"Milk and Honey will lead any suffering reader to peace of mind - an endeavor that can take years without such a companion."

Rupi Kaur is the author and illustrator of two poetry collections. She started drawing at the age of five, when her mother gave her a brush and said: "Draw as much as your heart desires!" Rupi sees life as an artistic journey of exploration. After studying rhetoric, in 2014 he published his first collection of poetry, Milk and Honey. That international bestseller sold more than a million copies and remained on the New York Times top list for a year. The long-awaited second collection, The sun and her flowers, was published in 2017. In it, Kaur explores the painful themes of love, trauma, healing, femininity, displacement and revolution. Rupi performs as a speaker around the world. She is also recognized as a photographer and art director and hopes to express herself successfully in that field as well.
